Victory Outreach Abuse...

BE CAREFUL of Victory Outreach. Before you join in on their "Vision" understand that you will be stripped of all the visions God has shown you in your life. You will be made to let go of all free thinking and the visions God has given to you. You will lose who you are and what you stand for. You will be criticised, cursed and made to serve, serve, serve. Even at the expense of your own family. Please do not get conned into this system of spiritual abuse. It is a cult. A cult is : great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work ... Sony Arganzoni, the great leader is mentioned more in the messages than Jesus Christ himself. They tell their people "We have a great inheritance because we come from the mother church in La Puente". I'm sorry, but last time I checked, our inheritance comes from Jesus Christ anf the price he paid on the cross for our sins. He predestined our lives before we were even born. Psalms 139:16... 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

1 John 4
Test the Spirits 1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

Ephesians 4:14-20
14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

PLEASE RESPOND WITH YOUR STORIES IF YOU HAVE EVER BEEN A VICTIM OF SPIRITUAL ABUSE THROUGH VICTORY OUTREACH!

This message is for Marcy. Hi I went to a Victory Outreach Church Program to get off drugs. Altough I am not thrilled about the church as a whole, It did work to get me off drugs and it was the only thing that did work. I just dont think God wants that baby in an unsafe situation and Im sure it will work out for the best. No church is perfect its not a cult alot of people think they have extreme ways of doing things extensive prayer etc but that is only in the homes and it is because the people in the homes were usually so far out there on drugs and being so disobedient they try to show them some sort of discipline because they are used to none. Just pray that herself and the baby get out of there in Gods time so they can have a regular life. It is not a cult just because someone posts that online dosent make it true Its not the greatest church but it does what it promises alot of the time. I hope everything works out for you and the baby and everyone involved =)

Totally agree, Victory Outreach came to Manchester first in 2000. It,s male dominated and the women are second class citizens serving the elders, who happen all to be male. They work you like dogs for very little food and you are also deprived of sleep. They are christian fanatics and twist the bible teachings. they want ten per cent of your money even when you are in the men's home unemployed or on long term sick you are expected to give them your benefits. From Manchester I stayed in Amsterdam, where I was not allowed to visit my family. In America they had me working 12 hour days in the heat with a bottle of water and no food. In the end I had to get the sheriff to get me out of their and back to the UK as they had confiscated my passport. they prey on vulnerable people and brain wash you for free labour ad extortion. It abuses you emotionally,

They use mind control techniques to control the weak-minded. Recovery homes are very authoritarian, and the directors are very abusive, working their slaves on 16 hour labor jobs, fixing the pastors homes, or church, etc.

i was once in Victory Outreach. i was a punk rocker trying to get off of drugs, so i decided to go to one of their recover homes. their home leaders tried to make me claim General Relief, but being only 18yrs old, c'mon. it wouldn't make any sense if i claimed it so young. phone calls to loved ones were no permitted. they would tell you to use a payphone, but they also make you give them your money. they work you to death for 14 hours a day and expect you to get up at 4:30AM. i would get back from working around 7pm and be asleep at 10pm. after 2 weeks there i decided to book it, which was aterrible and great decision. i was mocked, ridiculed, called names, and looked at as a traitor or something. 8 years later i got a wife, 2 kids, a home, a car, 2 dogs, and good income. it seemed The Army helped me (though i hate it to death) more than this church while getting paid really good. now they pay me a good monthly salary just to get a bachelors degree. i am a firm believer in Jesus Christ, but this church was very self glorifying and occult-like. the memories were not good ones.

I was at a Victory Outreach house in Ontario, California in 2008. I was there for three months. I admitted myself because I knew that I needed help. However, they grossly misrepresented themselves and their accommodations. If they are not a cult, they are as close to one as I have ever been.

I was there for three months, before I left walking down the street with nothing. Thank God that the true God directed me to a Salvation Army. The next day, I was at an ARC (adult rehabilitation center). I've been clean four years as of March 2012, and I'm pursuing a master's degree at the University of Wisconsin.

All of the abuses and injustices perpetrated upon me and others at Victory Outreach are too numerous to list here. So I will only mention one particularly un-Christian incident that flies in the face of drug recovery practices.

Each morning all of the guys are sent out on jobs with a sack lunch consisting of one peanut butter sandwich and a 25 cents bag of chips (no drinks). On this particular day, I worked alone at this job (menial work). I began the day at 6am, and my workday was over at 4pm. Victory Outreach left me there until 11pm that night, standing outside of the business waiting to be picked up, hungry, penniless, drug-addicted, and in an unfamiliar area. It was the true power of God that prevented me from chasing my addiction that night. No real recovery program would leave an addict alone for that amount of time, if they left them alone at all.

The living arrangements are similar to what is seen in the movie, Midnight Express. They accept anyone because it is about cheap labor, that's all.

I got to know some of the guys I was there with, and actually felt close to a few--the ones who were not fresh out of prison or gang members threatening to murder me. The house director was a big redneck with lightning bolts on his neck, who was obviously a racist. This is the Victory Outreach I know. Come to think about it, it doesn't sound like a cult. It sounds like a prison camp.

p.s. To Ryan and Marcel:

I hope you brothers made it

I am in the Victory Outreach recovery home myself, and it is not a cult, or a prison camp or anything like that. Every church has its issues, nothing is perfect but the basic values on what they do are right with the word of God. Pastor Sonny and Sister Julie are very anointed individuals that have started an amazing ministry thanks to Gods vision for them. I thank God that they answered the call upon their lives because if they didn't I would still be a heroin addict out running the streets doing whatever I needed to get my next fix. Maybe your experience with your directors or church was not the best, but do not lump all VO's in one lump. Most everyone is in the church thanks to the recovery homes, so yes they are all ex-addicts, gang members, convicts or just lost individuals. Our mission in life is to do Gods work by reaching individuals that need help in recovering their lives. I pray that God softens your heart and opens your eyes, and you stop blaspheming against the anointed ones, because God does not look kindly upon those who do that.

lived at a VO (san Jose CA) for a while and I believe it is a cult!! When you are told when to pray and for how long every day, when you are deprived food for weeks at a time and not allowed sleep for days. Something is wrong!! I have acute asthma and was told it was a sin to take my meds because it meant I didn't believe God could heal me. We were made to sell play tickets (to a very stupid play) every day for weeks. We would be dropped off at grocery stores in the morning and not picked up until very late and many times not given any food. One night I was sexually assaulted by a man in the parking lot during one of those nights, and when I reported to it the VO leader, I was told "well God protects his children, so if you were attacked it must be your fault" I would recommend you stay as far away from VO as possible!

Sorry to hear that Cassey I hope you got medical attention and the therapy that you will need. What led me to this blog is that I'm doing research on Victory Outreach and the corruption and scnadals that take place within thier churches. The reason I am doing this is because my 16 year old daughter was taken advantage of sexually by her Youth Leader that is 28 years old married with a daughter that is 12 years old. Of course this sick individual is now in jail. He is only facing
6 1/2 yrs for what he has done to my daughter. This is so pathetic because I'm positive that he has done this before I can feel it within my soul. The question is will anyone speak up, according to the authorities they can not freely question the congregation or inform them for that matter is up to the Pastor to take this action. I'm not confident that this will take place so I'm wondering how often this occurs within these churches. I knew as soon as I found out that this couldn't of been the first time he has done this, but of course because members of thier congregation are so brainwashed and manipulated the parents may not speak up. This sick pervert took my daughters purity and innocence. She will have to not only deal with the emotional healing from this abuse but the tool that it is going to take on her spiritual life is going to be even worst. I'm looking for other victims or famalies of victims to see just how common this is within thier organization. Please email me if you can help me in any way

my fiancé is a member in the men's home recovery her where I live in the city of Pomona, Ca. One night I found myself in miserable pain, I called the director and requested to have him brought to my house to care for my children while I went to the hospital. Or they could have come and helped me. I have no family near so this was my last resort. they gave me the run around and because I was in so much pain I hung up. The following morning I dropped my kids off and I rushed to the hospital. I had a bad kidney infection that spread to my intestines and stomach. I was advised to stay at the hospital for treatment but couldn't because I have no one to care for my kids. The following day I went to Friday services. Before I could enter the church, I was advised by the director that I can not talk, sit, write or have any visits with my fiancé due to the fact that I disrespected the director when I hung up. I took out my hospital paperwork and showed him that I was in a seriouse medical emergency, but they took me hanging up the phone personal and punished him and I. I accepted this two week punishment but I was recently advised I will absolutely have no contact with him for 3 months. I still attend Sunday Service but receive smerks and unwelcoming bodily language. I feel ostercized when I;m there. Rudy, my fiancé and I know each other for over 35 years, he would never act this cold towards me if not being brainwashed and or threatened. I feel as though I;ve lost him and they have permanently ingrained it in hid mind that I am toxic toward him. I don't know what to do. I keep writing to him but don't know if he is even receiving the mail or they are intercepting them(which is a federal crime). I have no way of reaching him and when he's in church they completely block his view from me and direct me where I can sit. In my eyes this is not Christ like, but abusive spirituality.

There is no such thing as a perfect church or perfect people. Just like my pastor says, he himself has done things just like us and for anyone to condemn Victory outreach as a whole because of certain people are judgemental and hypocritical. You wanna quote from the bible but judge a church because of bad experiences with certain people... I go to Victory Outreach in Portland, Oregon and have left a few times because I decided. No one kicked me out or made me feel like I should choose them over the rest. I went to other churches and went to VO at the same time. My Pastor is like family to me and even ministered my mother's memorial for free. With no complaints. This blog is slander and very rude to say the least. Maybe you should open your bible again and remember, only God can judge us.

915Great job Karmen..I too go to Victory Outreach Portland, ive been there for 13 years. I was in another church and cried out to God because I needed a church that was more than just a Sunday am one time a week church. I came out of a very spirit filled church but needed a firm foundation in the word.i also needed to be in a church where I felt comfortable about testifying about what God had dine for me. At Victorey Outreach they made me feel comfortable about talking about how God had delivered me from my drug addiction. And as for those of you who have been in the home that are so negative... Trust me I bet you worked harder for the drug dealer than you ever did doing jobs for your room and board, yeah you did and you paid for it too with your spirit, dignity, and soul.ate out of the garbage , slept under the bridge or in anybodies bed..I know because people who have MADE it through our recovery programs have told me their testimonies. God is a God of Love, but he is also a God of order and Discipline... READ your bible. AND THEY CAME AGAIMST JESUS SO GUESS WHAT THEY WILL COME AGAINST US TOO. Im sorry for those of yoyu who DIDNT MAKE IT through the home. a lot of the time people leave because they have problems with authority and don't want ti listen to what is good and safe for them... PRIDE COMETH BEFORE THE FALL.

I was sent to victory outreach uk in Salford and left 6 days after realising that the whole set up of the operation was completely unprofessional and dysfunctional. They left addicts that had just come of a relapse in staff positions and the director mr mark penman gave those positions mark was never on site and was very un christian in many ways including his attitude and he never had the decency to contact me back after my text message I sent him when I walked out. I found the home un clean and un sanitised throughout, the sleeping arrangements and hygiene was discussing, not to mention that you don't even keep the bed you are given in fact you get toasted from pillar to post as and when the man a the top says so. Another point I want to make is the Fact they charge £512 to housing benefit under each persons name this supposing to be for a room when in theory it's defrauded the system by putting 2 and 3 people in a room together and often relied on so called staff to sleep on the floors when it becomes over crowded. I felt that people of authority was very good at the academic side of the bible teaching and studies but there Christianity actions and principles fell by the way side once structured process had finished. I found these people became selfish violent and judgmental towards others. The structure of the rules surrounding outings ect was completely dis functional and not thought out properly. The Concept of the program looks good on paper and on the web but is very different in practise. this place is not structured properly and needs officials to do something about these people running establishments like this. I appreciate that the concept saves lives but mine could have been lost because of negligence and dis functional infer structure. I will pray that God does what it needs to run properly and his will be done in all areas of this establishment .

Pastor Ray of henderson. He took lots of time and love sharing gods message. Im happy that i waited. Thanks Ray. Airborne

My name is Gia.
I attended the Oakland Church 07-09, then briefly in 2013. I was not in their homes but have definately witnessed spiritual abuse,MAJOR dysfunction within Leadership, etc.., which hindered my spiritual growth.

I started attending this church during a season of difficulties. They were in financial despair with a huge amount of debt probably several hundred thousands, on the verge of loosing their church-building, and a home in $350,000 or higher price range in Berkeley Ca, the grand decrease of members since their 1985 opening to a hand full with a few new attendees like me. I had no idea what I got myself into but God allowed me to experience it for my own good and His purposes for my life.

I must admit I have had some discouraging, painful, and disturbing experiences with "leaders" in this particular branch. The last incident being recently where a "leader" named Ramona Jones started slandering my character, while speaking to another current VO Oakland attendee, unbeknowngst to Ramona that "she was on a call via speaker and I heard every word spoken."

I must also clarify that this is just one church out of many VO churches & I can only speak on the Oakland church because it's the only and final VO church i've attended.

Thru this experience I do not recommend anyone to the Oakland VO Church or homes, (since knowing what my daughter has experienced in her short stay and/or due to slave-labor conditions & treatment as well as criminal welfare fraud encouragement) I find myself recommending or taking people to other places like Rescue Mission in Richmond Ca or The Salvation Army Homes.

Overall, I have learned greatly from the experience. I'm grateful AbbaYehovah has healed me && has lead me to another ministry with MATURE Christian leaders for my spiritual growth. In my opinion they're criminally minded-self righteous, prideful beings hiding behind God.
May FatherYehovah have mercy on them.
God Bless && God Speed!

Wow! I'm shocked. Before reading these posts, I had high regard for Victory Outreach. I am not going to draw any conclusions right now, but I am thankful for the insight. I was thinking about getting involved in Victory Outreach due to my past experiences visiting one of the churches and hearing representatives speak in public.

Hi my name is Zach Ive been to three VO mens homes in the past three years four times on and off. I live in Northern California and let me tell you its corrupt. These people are not of Christ more like the anti-Christ. Where do I even begin. They strip you of everything they take your welfare and use it how they want (food stamps etc.). Sometimes they use your food stamps on themselves and give you whatever table scraps are left. They work you like a dog but insure that no employment opportunities are ever available to you, lest you leave there homes and become employed by whomever they had you working for in their "Christian recovery home". These guys are professional con artists. They'll throw an unending guilt trip at you, shove their tradition down your throat. What can I say these people are highly deceptive and I haven't even begun.

Zachary Sadler said...

When I first joined Victory Outreach Stockton,California back in 2012 I was just looking for a place to get clean off the streets. I soon found out this organization was false. Just the pure unprofessionalism and being treated like a second class citizen always pissed me off when I was in there. The leaders in the home always seemed to look down there damn noses at me like I was nothing. They want you to be their slave in their recovery homes for a year so they can train you to be their robot for the church. They figure a year is long enough for the organization to brainwash you enough to become a full fledged member of there corrupt anti-Christ organization. They glorify the church's original founder Sonny Arguinzoni more than they do Jesus Christ. The leaders, the pastors of each of the churches especially are in it to make a name for themselves to be glorified by people. "Oh yeah pastor so and so I love him". Just last year I was under the pastoral leadership of a greedy man who even let his true intentions be known in the middle of a sermon no less. This happened last year I was in the VO Merced, CA men's home. The pastor (whose name I'll leave blank) starts ranting and raving up their on stage "when I first came to VO I saw all these pastors being waited on like kings and I thought to myself I want that". I should've know right then and there to cut but I didn't. That's just one example of their falsehood. Wasn't it satan himself who wanted the same thing to be glorified and worshipped like that above God.

Zachary Sadler said...

You know I gave these churches a chance I did. For two years on and off I joined there men's homes. From Stockton,CA to Merced,CA to Lodi,CA. Lodi being the worst. Last year alone I worked like a dog for the Lodi men's home and what did I get out of shit. I got tired of all the work and no benefit, from working like a slave at a circus to being treated like a pawn working at a carnival. Finally one morning before being shipped off to work at some carnival like a mindless robot I decided to leave Lodi I'd had it. The home was atrocious. It was like living in a barn then it really became like a cult when we were forced to pray in a dark dungey basement. We were working like slaves with hardly any breaks while the so called director who hardly ever did anything got to enjoy the fruits of are labor with Xfinity cable and internet. While us in the home were rarely ever allowed to watch any form of entertainment. I was always aways taught especially when your trying to serve God to abstain from worldy things like television where there's all sorts of perversion and hidden messages to get you away from God. Upon my resignation from Lodi I was denied the return of my ebt card(a.k.a) food stamps and threatened. "hey shut your mouth, what's up then homie!!) were some of the dialogue expressed that day.

Zachary Sadler said...

Well I guess at a church like VO Lodi where the pastor is more concerned about making money then helping people and more likely to jump around on stage like some crazy stand up comic then to really preach the word of God, what do you expect right? I don't know how many times that guy preached "how many of us know Cable television has power". Wow!! You mean more power than God Jesus?! Seriously folks if you or anyone you know has a drug or alcohol problem or is at risk of becoming homeless and is thinking of joining Victory Outreach don't. Please safe yourself the heartache. Like I said in an early post these guy's are pros at swindeling the needy.

As for being greedy...I have my own business blessings from God,s help and have a nice condo and fat bank account way after VO and still blessed..,went to China and going to Europe this year.So who is greedy ? Come to find out that the Director gave it to the Pastor and church kitchen and Women's home ( his wife was Director of Women's home ) so the woman that donated the meat which was for the Men's Home , her and her Husband left the Church....same MO. The injured Man who fell through the roof was intimidated to remain silent about the situation and was told that by prayer he would be healed

Its terrible at Victory Outreach Las Vegas......through the years I've been told by leaders that I had emotional/mental problems......that I was bipoler somuch to the point where I believed them.....I was so concerened about it that I check myself into a local mental hospital for an entire week of evaluateing...over $3000 in bills.....The doctors told me there was nothing wrong with me.....Ive been stolen from leaders in the church....yelled at.....even humiliated by the Pastor to the congragation during services while volunteering in the band......was in the ministry over 6 years volunteering in EVERY department and the pastor never spoke to me....not even once......When we had our first conversation he thought I was a "new guy" in the Recovery Home.....

They are looking for homeless drug addicts and GANG bangers that get welfare checks, so they can get them into their home, and feed them beans and rice. And two weeks later they are all pastors. Guess how many people show up for bible study when Monday night football is on. Yep. Zero ! They are a CULT !

Why are you so horrible casey?? Why do you feel you need to abuse people you dont even know? Everyone has the right to an opinion but there's no need for your nastyness

Candy Carrlzales said...

Most of you guys on here are extremely judgmental. Who are you to judge Victory Outreach or their tactics on getting people off of drugs and out of gangs? Were you commanded by God himself to judge them? If not, then I suggest you "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling".

I was never a gang member nor a drug addict, but I was an active member in various ministries in V.O. for over ten years. I chose to leave the church for personal reasons, but have since attended a different church. And although there were some things I don't necessarily agree with in VO, they are still a Godly organization. Most of the people that complain and gripe about the stringent requirements of the homes are the ones who simply can't or don't want to complete the program. But understand this before you judge, it is a PROGRAM! Just like if you were court committed to another drug recovery program, you would still have to adhere to a strict set of rules. Most of them don't allow phone calls for the first 6 to 8 weeks, unless they are monitored. They don't allow you to work at all, and when you do, you have to surrender your money to the administrators. You have curfews, you have required meetings or support groups you have to attend, you have to report to your supervisors EVERYTHING you do... I mean for pete sake, we're talking about drug addicts here. Drug addicts are undisciplined with all their resources, so they have to be controlled or else they will just go back on drugs. The difference is that most, if not all, of V.O. homes are now volunteer based only. Which means you choose to be there.

If you don't like the rules, don't enter a V.O. Home, or leave. Simple as that. Go to a court appointed program, and be happy. As far as the church and the vision is concerned, if you don't like the church or their way of faith, , then don't go. Simple as that. There's nothing wrong with a movement following the leadership of it's founding father. Most Christian churches today don't have their founding leaders with them anymore, like John Wesley or Martin Luther. So what if V.O. holds their founder in high reverence. The Catholic church does the same thing to the Pope, and no one seems to have an issue with that. Bottom line is if you have time to start and maintain a blog about bashing church, then you obviously have too much time on your hands and aren't handling the things that God really expects of us as Christians. You never read about Jesus bashing other believers. In fact, go read John 9:50 where the disciples tell Jesus about someone else preaching his word, and Jesus tells them "Do not stop him, for whoever is not against us, is for us".

Truth is everybody has bad experiences in churches, no matter what denomination. The church is made up of people, who are not perfect. I was a leader myself, and I said some things that were wrong and probably even hurtful. I know I was wrong, but I'm one person, and I was learning how to lead, as are some of the leaders that may have hurt some of you. But take it to the Lord and let him speak to you. If he says to move on from the church, then just do it. But the commitments we made to the pastors and leaders were made by you and me. No one brain washed anybody. If we make that commitment, then we made it consciously. If you feel you made the wrong decision, then just leave and leave it between you and God. God bless everyone on this blog..

I was at Victory Temple Ministries in Ft Worth TX, and Im so glad to be done with that place. It was when the assistant pastor reached over to North Korea for an example of authority & devotion to ones leader that was the last straw for me. I didnt tell him that they murder people if they dont show reverence because I would have been disrespecting my leaders presentation lol. The lower leaders get off on antagonizing people & stirring up drama & then hide behind their little position that they wormed their way into. I got no use for that or them, made me lose respect. Especially with the rampant ignorance, the small & closed mindedness, and such it was rediculous. I recomend one doesnt go there. ~Lance xhomeboy from 2015

Wow i spent about an hour commenting on this i will never think its ok to support a cult i will do what i have to do to have sobriety and stay clean and recovery from addiction ill never let this group be labeled as a godly ministry and will not keep such opinions quiet every thing about this trash is evil let alone misleads and lies to ppl by mentioning the bible only to twist the teachings of the bible to promote the vision and agenda of nothing else other than an antichrist/ guru/ dictator.which uses and take advantage of broken lost individuals who are good ppl most of the time just had a few chemical imbalances which lead them to get high or whatever misled them to their own destruction.either way even at that moment when u thibk u feel worthless or guilty please know that the right help will find youvor you will find the right help but only if ur ready to stop self destructing and can take responsibility for your decisions and except it find the reason you had a problem fix and move on to a future that will be filled with blessings through christ in sobriety. anyone who supports this trash needs to research victory outreach and than compare it to a google search about cults seriously

Or dont research and continue believing that the vision of the the founding father is justly and its ok to mislead ppl by lying to them i have yet to hear any one member state the actions or steps they took to be in recovery and to have a reinforcement plan to prevent relaspe or any type or therapy needed to fix the addict as their own individual person which thats why im sure u have to be isolated from society let alone be around or see any loved ones big red flag of course they dont want you repeating what was said or done by the director to a loved one or your family to get u off drugs or rehabilitated the correct and right way because from what ive watched and read u are lead to believe tbat everything with be just or some lame excuse these so called godly ppl tell u and actually probaly treat u like dirt during the first thirty days to make u feel even more worthless even though u just battled and fought threough the worst most painful withdrawl and yet i have yet to hear one experince of getting passsed that or even a thank i jesus christ for letting me fight and conquer my withdrawl a technique i will assume they use to program u even more.if they seriously think its ok to try to rehabilitate an individual with brain washing and all these technique to clone u or drone a person thats seriously inhumane and there is only misery inside a person in these places ive seen it in the eyes of the so called recovery alcoholic this member literally had no excitment let alone was or even looked remotely greatful she was not drinking let alone thanked jesus christ that because she made the decision to stop she got custody of her kids they truely sound scripted in a monotone voice through lord im getting my kids back was pretty much the only time she didnt sound like a drone or was reminded of who she is and what truelly made her happy or want to stop

I'm not sure why.I have no problem having faith in God even when I have nothing but I told this woman at Lodi VO I am pregnant hungry and might wanna join but she just said "uh huh" about the food part and said I'm not allowed to have a job...If I don't have a job how am I going to keep my baby.It will be born before then and I'm not working like no dog while I'm pregnant.I'm not sure what to do.going on a limb here.I get a bad vibe a lot but feel like I'm above it
.mostly.

But anyways I don't know everything about it and don't like to jump to conclusions but I feel like I mean if this was any kind of Godly place and I'm pregnant why am I "Asking" IF I can eat a snack? That's sounds crazy to me.and I asked if we can bring in food.k.I eat organic I'm not eating table scraps if that's the case.I don't believe everything I hear.I might just try it a different day for a couple days.but man I ain't giving up EBT sorry.

Kallie Jackson said...

Ok.This is to all the people who talk solely about gangs and drug addicts.I am simply a girl who needs a home and some help.I am pregnant. If someone wants to take my source of food away etc I don't think they are what I need. I mean the woman on the phone sounded disappointed.. iI kid you not.disappointed like "Oh so you're not on drugs or anything?" Like um no I'm not.

I agree it appears to be a cult. I started attending the church after I met my fiancee..He also went through the men's home for prior drug and alcohol abuse. It did help him kick both habits but I was extremely uncomfortable with"the vision" everything and I mean everything revolves around pastor Sonny's vision. That was weird to me. So much money from our local church went to the "mother" church again this was strange to me. Everything was about ministry, ministry, ministry and more ministry. And yes we were expected to serve at any cost.I must say I was in love with the way they devoted so much time to praise and worship it was powerful maybe because of my own personal relationship with Jesus.I was a but taken back by everyone, every service getting slayed in the spirit. That seemed to be a little artificial to me. More like something that was expected to try to authenticate the experience. I've had many encounters with the Holy spirit and I personally am not able to just turn it on at any given moment.I also wondered why hardly any other pastors or bishops or ministers rarely ever speak at a victory outreach church or event. This I assume because their secret would be blown out of the water. A real holy ghost God fearing minister would not condone their practices and would expose them for what they are.I'm no expert on cults but from what I've studied I would say that they are. It's mind control at its best. And it's sad because they go after the weakest of the weakest. Drug addicts prostitutes, runaways,ex cons, and people who feel like rejects of society. Victory Outreach makes them feel loved and important. When you don't know any better it's very easy to be ducked into such an organization. Thankfully for me I grew up in a Bible believing Bible teaching faith based church where Jesus Christ, God and the Holy Spirit were first and foremost. Lastly they have "Gang" God's anointed now generation that focuses on the youth.Train a child in the way they should go and they'll never depart from it. Mind control of children this is why generation after generation stays in this organization it's all they know since birth. Victory Outreach is dangerous and it's abusive and it twist the word of God to further one man's agenda. It's either your all in or your all out. Their slogan is "I am Victory Outreach" I say I am a child of the mist high God only! At first glance it seemed legitimate but the more I saw the more suspicious I became. This organization is not the real deal. Jesus us the only one who can open their eyes. I still love all if the people I met there although it was only a short period. We do not hang out anymore I have my reasons as to why but it's okay.I pray that one day they can experience God in truth. God bless!

You are absolutely right. My soon to be husband experienced the same thing. You have to give them all of your wages or government benefits if you receive them. And the men's home living conditions that many churches have are absolutely deplorable. And yes woman are treated as second class citizens this made my blood boil. I'm all about women are the man's helpmate and men should lead. But it's taken out of context completely. Not a place of true worship.
